ANALISIS TINGKAT KESEHATAN BANK MENGGUNAKAN METODE RGEC PADA BANK BANTEN PERIODE 2018-2022

To assess the soundness of a bank can be done using the RGEC method, in accordance with Bank Indonesia regulation No.13/1/PBI/2011 concerning Assesment of Commercial Banks with (Risk Profile, Good Corporate Governance, Earning, Capital). The RGEC method has been effective since Januari 1 2012, namely for assessing the soundness of banks for the period ending December 31 2011 and at the same revoking PBI No. 6/10/PBI/2004 concerning the Soundness Rating systmen for Commercial Banks using the CAMELS method.
This study aims to find out information about bank health based on the result of Bank Banten’s financial reports for the 2018-2022 period.
The method in this study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, with the data use is secondary data issued by Bank Banten for the 2018-2022 period.
The results of Bank Banten's health research from the Risk Profile factor using the NPL and LDR ratios for the 2018-2022 period obtained the Unhealthy category. From the Good Corporate Governance factor using self-assessment in the report on the implementation of Good Corporate Governance for the 2018-2022 period, it obtained the Fairly Healthy category. The Earning Factor using the ratio of NIM and ROA for the 2018-2022 period obtains the Unsound category. The Capital factor uses the CAR ratio for the 2018-2022 period to obtain the Very Healthy category.
Based on the results of determining the Compisite Rating (CR) of Bank Banten with the RGEC Factor for the 2018-2022 period it is in the Unhealthy Health Category.
Bank Banten’s Health Level for the 2018-2022 period shows that every year it has a Soundness Level that must be improved in the future.
